Pasighat to Host Police Technology Summit on Nov 8

Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, will host the Police Technology Summit (PTS) 2025 on November 8 at its Pasighat campus in Arunachal Pradesh. The summit aims to accelerate technology adoption for internal security by showcasing cutting-edge solutions for SMART Policing.

Organised by RRU in collaboration with AIC-RRU Incubation Foundation (under AIM, NITI Aayog), the event will bring together police and CAPF leadership, state and district police units, policymakers, startups, researchers, and technology solution providers. The summit will focus on transforming policing through artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and advanced surveillance systems.

“The Police Technology Summit represents a crucial platform for bridging the gap between innovative technology solutions and practical law enforcement needs. We are committed to equipping our police forces with state-of-the-art tools to enhance public safety,” said an RRU official.

The summit will feature multiple thematic tracks covering AI-driven policing, open-source intelligence (OSINT), counter-drone and tactical communications, cybercrime investigation, digital forensics, smart surveillance, field mobility solutions, and technology-enabled training through simulations.

A highlight of the event will be live demonstrations and an expo showcasing India-made innovations tailored for policing requirements. Technologies on display will include secure communications systems, agentic AI, cyber ranges, VR/AR/MR training tools, blockchain forensics, quantum-safe security solutions, and environmental field sensors.

Practical use-case sessions will demonstrate deployable solutions for beat officers, investigators, traffic and crowd management units, anti-human trafficking cells, cyber police stations, and disaster response coordination. These sessions will provide actionable insights into real-world applications of emerging technologies.

An impressive lineup of exhibitors, including Roombr, TheMoe, HyperLab, FaceTagr, Mobisec, Helios Dynamic, Resecurity, QNu Labs, Tactilink, BeyonData, and Phronetic AI, will present deployable solutions designed to modernise police operations.
