Snigdha Saikia, the Assam State President of the Narendra Modi Vichar Manch – Antarashtriya Sant Baudhik Manch, has significantly scaled up her organisational activities in the national capital. Having camped in Delhi for the past three months, Saikia has been at the forefront of a series of community-driven initiatives aimed at promoting cultural education, social service, and the core tenets of Hindutva ideology.

Working in close coordination with senior functionaries of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Saikia’s outreach strategy focuses on grassroots engagement through local shakhas (community meetings), specialised training modules, and social service projects. These efforts are designed to strengthen the social fabric and promote a deeper understanding of nationalistic values among the urban populace.

On Sunday, February 1, Saikia participated in a high-profile community event held at New Ashok Nagar, Kalahari Block-D. The gathering was attended by several influential RSS leaders, including Sarnam Singh Tomar and Rohit Shiv Dutta. The leaders engaged with local residents to discuss the importance of cultural preservation and the role of youth in nation-building.

Reflecting on the mission of her three-month stint, Snigdha Saikia stated, “Our objective is to bridge the gap between ideology and community service. By working directly at the block level, we are not only promoting our cultural heritage but also addressing the immediate social concerns of the people. The response we have received in Delhi has been overwhelming and deeply encouraging.”

The success of Sunday’s event follows a massive public response to a similar programme held on January 25 near the New Metro Station, Block-B. That event saw a large turnout of citizens, signifying a growing interest in the Manch’s ideological and social service initiatives. Saikia noted that the integration of cultural education with practical social work has resonated particularly well with the local residents.

Looking ahead, the Manch plans to maintain this momentum. “The journey does not stop here. Several such community programmes and training sessions are scheduled to be held across various sectors of Delhi in the coming days,” Saikia added.
As she continues her organisational work, the synergy between the Narendra Modi Vichar Manch guided by the organisation’s international president Swami Swadeshananda Brahma Giri, and RSS functionaries is expected to further expand the reach of their collective social and cultural mission in the capital.
