The evening’s highlight was the presence of Chief Guest Dipannita Sharma, renowned Indian actor, supermodel, and television personality originally from Assam’s Duliajan. Her participation added glamour and inspiration to the event themed “Lights, Camera, Assam!” — a vibrant tribute to the rich cultural and artistic legacy of the state.

Also present at the celebration were Dr Saikat Patra, Mayor of Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation, Ujjal Phukon, Deputy Mayor, Mahavir Prasad Jain, Founder of Gyan Ved Foundation, PVC C.A. Sanjay Jain, Director Banita Jain, and Board Member Angel Jain, among other distinguished guests.
The cultural programme showcased a magnificent blend of music, dance, and drama, paying homage to Assam’s legendary icons Dr. Bhupen Hazarika and Zubeen Garg. Over 100 students came together for a spectacular orchestra performance that enthralled the audience with its musical harmony. Traditional dance forms such as Sattriya and Dashavatar, soulful songs, and thematic plays filled the evening with artistic vibrancy.

In her welcome address, Board Member Angel Jain reflected on the school’s journey and vision, saying, “DPS Dibrugarh stands for holistic education that nurtures confident, compassionate, and competent learners. Our mission is not just academic excellence, but the shaping of well-rounded individuals.”

Principal Probhati Biswas presented the Annual School Report, highlighting student achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities. “DPS Dibrugarh continues to excel because of the combined dedication of our students and teachers,” she noted, reaffirming the school’s focus on values, innovation, and all-round development.

Appreciating the student performances, PVC C.A. Sanjay Jain remarked, “The confidence and discipline displayed by our students reflect the spirit of DPS. They are growing into future leaders who are academically strong, culturally rooted, and socially aware.”
A memorable highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the school’s first magazine, UDAAN, which captures the voices, creativity, and aspirations of students.

Chief Guest Dipannita Sharma, visibly moved by the cultural brilliance, said, “It fills me with pride to see such world-class performances here in my home state. Believe in yourselves — self-confidence, determination, and perseverance will take you to great heights.”
