Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) in Dibrugarh concluded its Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025 on Monday with a closing ceremony that reinforced the organisation’s commitment to integrity and transparency in the workplace.

The week-long observance, held from October 27 to November 2, followed guidelines issued by the Central Vigilance Commission under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”. The programme was inaugurated on October 27 with Managing Director Pranjal Changmai administering an Integrity Pledge to all employees at the Administrative Building.

Throughout the week, BCPL organised various activities designed to reaffirm commitment to promoting integrity and probity in public life through citizen participation. These included classroom training sessions, an online quiz competition, essay writing, art competitions, and slogan competitions on the vigilance theme. The activities engaged not only BCPL employees and contractual workers but also their family members and students from nearby areas.

The closing ceremony, held at the Administrative Building on Monday, was attended by senior management including Chief Guest Pranjal Changmai, Director (Finance) Pruthiviraj Dash, Chief Operating Officer Joyonto Panging, Chief General Manager (O&M) Sitangshu Paul, and other senior officials and employees.

Kaberi Kakati, Senior Manager (Vigilance), presented a comprehensive overview of the week-long activities during the ceremony.

“I urge the entire BCPL fraternity to maintain transparency and integrity in the workplace and to abide by the procedures and policies,” Changmai stated, emphasising the importance of ethical conduct in organisational operations.

Dash reinforced the message, telling employees: “Maintain integrity in the workplace for better growth of the organisation.”

The ceremony included an interactive session where employees shared suggestions and expressed their views on vigilance matters, promoting dialogue on promoting ethical practices within the organisation.

The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognising winners of the various competitions held throughout the week, celebrating both awareness and active participation in vigilance initiatives.
